What a wonderful Venue! I was so impressed with the undercover arena and adjoining courtyard so I took quite a few photos to show every-one.
Brett Parberry and Heinke Klimm gave very good clear classes showing us, through the riders, exactly what they were looking for at each stage of the horses training and why. There were other classes but I missed those.
Catering was a little short for the quality of the show and lunch time saw a very busy time at food van.
Parking was plenty in the paddocks and a small walk to the trade villiage and Arena's with comfortable shoes being appreciated here.

Brett Parbery

He was short listed for Beijing Olypics 2008 and competed respected Grand Prix horses Victory Salute and Whisper IV. Brett has just earned the right to compete at the World Cup Final in Holland in 2010, cementing himself as one of Australia's most successful dressage riders.
For Brett, adjustability is super important. 3-5 year olds work on Rythm, relaxation, being on the aids and off the leg. 7 year old notes: 95% don't want to bend to the right.
Try and save the whip for collected movements and don't use the whip to mask the horse not coming off the leg. Feather the whip over the rump to encourage coming under. Training is all about release on pressure off. Crossing the double reins so as not to use the curb is very good to start with.
