| Cappy 31/12/09 - This was the day that I first saw Cappy. I was so sick with the flu and I just couldn't ride but I fell in love with him any-way. And wow.. What a walk! He was about 2 weeks fresh back from the breakers. | |
| Cappy 24/1/10 - First time lunging at the Hidden Drop so very wary and I gave him all the time he needed to look around. Serious lunging will come after he gets used to this. At least the Donkey's stayed away today. | |

March 2009 Thank you very much to Cathy and her magnificent horse 'Biscuit' for allowing me to ride side-saddle for the first time in my life. It was such a strange feeling untill I finally moved my seat into the centre of the saddle and found a good balance. From that moment it became very natural and comfortable. I did find it a bit hard to keep my hands in this position which is further back and lower than my usual hand position. I walked and had a very small trot, no cantering for this novice in side-saddle but I am keen to ride again. |
