Missoula Park Capella

16hh Warmblood/Clydie Cross Gelding.

Born August 2005

He spent his first 4 years of life with his Breeder, Natascha at Missoula Park in the beautiful NE Victoria. Last November he went off to the 'breakers' for 6 weeks where his spent a few days in the high country and then home again for 3 weeks. Then after a 4 hour trip from his country home, through the hills for a good hour and a half, he arrived at his new home with me.

15.3hh Clydesdale/Thoroughbred/Andalusion Mare

Born 1997

She did trail riding with Ted until she moved into my world at the age of 8 and became my main Dressage/Eventing horse. We continued to trail ride as well as compete HRCAV Level 1/Advanced and EV competitions in Medium. Minnie moved on to her new home July 2010.

Dolcien

Dolcien - 17hh Thoroughbred mare, raced 3 times before coming to me. I trained her to HRCAV level 3 and then she moved on into Samantha's life to do Dressage and Jumping
Indie is on the right
Indi - 14.2hh Appaloosa gelding. I broke him in for my sister (her horse) in the late nineties. He stayed with my sister for many years, then spent the past 3yrs with me and has now moved on to be Victor's trail riding and HRCAV horse.
Rastus is on the left
Rastus - Welsh Mountain Grade A, gray pony. Cody (same breeding and chestnut) and Rastus came to us through the drought in early 2007. I handled both for 6 months (tie-up, floating, hoof trimming, grooming, worming etc), then had them Gelded and Cody went off to his real home and Rastus stayed with us. My Grandson, Domanic often leads Rastus around and brushes him. Lovely to see a 2 and a half yr old working with a pony so confidently. Read more about Rastus' training...
Severco
Severco - my old mate. Sev was originally purchased for my younger sister, but as he was gelded late, he still thought he was a Stallion and begged for more work and handling so I was privileged to have him come my way during the 1990's. We trail rode all over Victoria and competed ODE, SJ and Dressage in both EFA and HRCAV. As an aging Gentlemen he died mid 2006 and will be forever remembered as one of the special ones.
Sir Specs
Sir Specs - 16hh appaloosa Gelding. We did much Eventing, Dressage and Trail Riding until a back injury forced him to retire. He always kept me on my toes and jumping him was such a pleasure as he believed in self preservation and rarely touched a rail.
Monsview Solid Gold - 15.3hh magnificent Palomino Gelding. Solly was with our family (and a few years with me) for most of his life. I still remember my 8yr old daughter riding him around at the horse yards to the amazement of the crowds. Such a gentleman was he!
Shadow - Thoroughbred Mare and my Mother's horse. Luckily for me Shadow would allow me to catch and ride her. I still remember standing on fences, tree stumps and whatever I could find if I came off, because I was too small to reach up to the stirrup to get on. I was riding her around age 6-8.
Lady - a very elegant Mare of my Mothers who I had quite a soft spot for. She wasn't with us long but she implanted gracefulness into my memory.
So many more horses passed through my life but the ones above have very special places in my heart.
